NamingStorm ("we," "us") provides an AI-powered business naming tool at namingstorm.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.

What We Collect

Third Parties We Share Data With

Google (Firebase Authentication, Gemini API) — sign-in and AI name generation
Stripe — payment processing for paid plans
MarkerAPI — preliminary USPTO trademark search (name text only, not sent for guests who never use this feature)
Verisign RDAP — public domain-availability lookups (no personal data involved, just the candidate name)

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with data brokers.

What's Stored Where

Firestore (our database): your account record, saved projects, and any domain/trademark acquisitions you initiate — only if you're signed in.
Your browser (localStorage/sessionStorage): your shortlisted names, guest session ID, and recent generation history. This stays on your device and is never sent to us unless you're signed in and save it.

Your Choices

You can use most of the app as a guest without providing any personal information beyond your product brief.
You can skip the phone-number prompt at any time — it's never required.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us (below).

Trademark Screening Disclaimer

Any trademark or "risk" indication shown in the app is a preliminary, automated screen only — it is not a legal trademark clearance opinion. Always consult a trademark attorney before committing to a name.
